  • Communications: emails and messages you send us, including enquiries about parts or your vehicle.

How we use your information

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds (necessary to perform our contract with you).
  • To reply to your enquiries and help you source parts (our legitimate interests in running our business, or to take steps at your request before a purchase).
  • To keep accounting and tax records (to meet our legal obligations).
  • To send you news and offers by email, where you have agreed to this or have bought from us before. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To improve our website and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed. These include:

  • Couriers (UPS, DPD and DHL) to deliver your order
  • Stripe and PayPal to process your payment
  • Our website hosting, e-commerce and stock management providers
  • Klaviyo, our email marketing provider, to send our newsletters and offers
  • Our accountants and professional advisers

We never sell your personal information. We may also share information where required by law, for example with HMRC or the police.

International transfers

When we send an order overseas, your name, address and contact details are shared with the courier and customs authorities in the destination country. Some of our service providers may also process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK law.

How long we keep it

We keep order and financial records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes. We keep marketing preferences until you unsubscribe, and account details until you ask us to close your account. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy to transfer elsewhere. To make a request, email info@classicferrariparts.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and our website uses encryption (SSL) to protect data sent during checkout.
